Peter McCarthy has enjoyed over 30 years of involvement in distribution, training, consulting and support to the Australian pest management industry. Peter has qualifications in horticulture, marketing and pest management. He has run training programs on many aspects of pest and business management over the past three decade. Peter is a frequent guest speaker at pest, grain and food industry conferences both Australia-wide and overseas including AEPMA, HACCP, PMANZ, FAOPMA and NPMA to name but a few.

Through PestIT, Peter will continue to offer training and consulting services to pest control specialists and the pest management industry as whole, as well as independent pest audits for the food and grain sectors.

Peter’s primary focus is on developing the bird management market and has introduced several new technologies since the early 1990’s. He has assisted countless companies in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific with bird management installation training.

Rebecca joined the PestIT team in early 2019 as the company’s Office Manager, helping to streamline many of our internal processes, with both company accounts and customer service benefiting from new systems in place.

Rebecca has been a key asset in helping combine our numerous websites focusing on various aspects of pest control into our new site – pestit.com, a one stop shop for all your pest control needs. She has also help extend PestIT’s social media reach, with content available on our new YouTube and Instagram pages.

As our earth warms, and pollution, waste and over-use of pesticides dominate the business landscape, our mission is to develop pesticide-free, device-driven pest management solutions.
