Peter McCarthy has enjoyed over 17 years of involvement in distribution, training, consulting and support to the Australian pest management industry. Peter has qualifications in horticulture, marketing and pest management. He has run training programs on many aspects of pest and business management over the past decade. Peter is a frequent guest speaker at pest, grain and food industry conferences both Australia-wide and overseas including AEPMA, HACCP, FAOPMA and NPMA to name but a few. Through Pest IT, peter will continue to offer training and consulting services to the pest management industry as well as independent pest audits for the food and grain sectors.

Dr. Sali Bache has a background in science, conservation and legislative issues. Sali has a Bachelor of Science and a PhD in public policy and environmental law. Sali too has conducted training programs on various technical subjects throughout Australia and internationally. Her experience in consulting to both the Australian and US governments, as well as the United Nations (UN), and many non-government organisations will help Pest IT bring a new dimension of training and consulting to the pest management industry. Sali was a key note speaker at FAOPMA 2006, presenting a fresh but startling insight into Avian Influenza and the potential dangers faced by Australian pest managers and the general public.  Sali has also presented numerous pest management related technical articles and papers, many of which are listed on the technical page of this web site. Her particular interests lie in pest and disease prevention and in the legal and regulatory side of pest management.

Michael Harband is now a Pest IT veteran and is regularly holding on-site and classroom training programs on bird management and other pest related topics. Michael has extensive experience in supplying and assisting the pest industry with products, expertise, equipment repairs and problem solving. Michael’s primary focus is with our customer support effort in your product requirements, as well as assisting with proposals, installations, training and more. Apart from customer service and support, Michael’s expertise includes bird management, flying insect control, equipment maintenance and repairs, commercial pest management – a perfect fit for Pest IT.
