The unique design creates a natural water seal that stops bacteria, odours and pests from entering cafes, restaurants, bathrooms and wet areas through the drains. The internal funnel is constantly covered by liquid and as the water flows through, it rises up and out of the exit holes and into the sewer pipe. To correctly measure an existing grill or grate, use calipers for an exact measurement. Often there is only 0.5 – 1mm between a correct and incorrect fit – so please be precise.

Installation Instructions

Remove existing floor grate/drain cover by turning it to the left and lift it out of recess.
For hard to budge grates, move the grate back and forth a few times to loosen it up.
If the grate is metal, use the blunt end of a screwdriver, position it against a hole in the grate and tap the screwdriver gently with a hammer to the left.
Insert the new and lock in position.
Pour ½ cup of water through the grate to create the water seal.

Maintenance Tips

Top up the regularly with ½ cup of water to maintain the water seal in your drain.
Do not add pure essential oils into the as it may damage the plastic grills.
If located in the shower, remove the at least once every 2 months and thoroughly rinse out all trapped hair, soap scum and built up impurities before replacing the . In other wet areas, remove the and rinse properly once every 3 to 4 months before replacing the . Remember to top up with 1/2 cup of water
